We provide member support through a dedicated head office member services team, as well as member support personnel in every state. Our member services team works with our members to help them grow their business.

 

Member systems

The customised IT system we offer members is a Siebel-based commissions engine we've called FLEX. As the name implies, it is flexible enough to accommodate a wide variety of member types and needs. FLEX not only delivers a performance that's guaranteed to impress customers – like mortgage offers approved in principle within a minute of entering a customer's details - it also enables business managers to control how much access each of their team members can have to different levels of information.

 

There are also powerful built-in tools, such as the innovative Targeted Account Management (TAM), a system which identifies customers at risk of discharging their loans so that members can help retain them.

 

Member promotion

Most of our members have ambitious plans to grow their businesses - and AFG's business development managers provide training and support to help them achieve exactly that. We also offer a whole range of opportunities for member promotion. These include co-branded marketing campaigns, direct marketing and range of targeted promotional activities. As a national organisation with marketing muscle, economies of scale mean we're able to offer marketing opportunities to our members at discounted rates.

SMART – Specialised Marketing Acquisition Retention Tools

SMART is an outstanding Customer Relationship Management system that AFG has developed to communicate with customers on behalf of brokers. The system is designed to retain existing customers for longer and attract brand new customers straight to the broker. This is done through email and direct mail customer contact, under the broker brand and broker name. By freeing up time spent on marketing, that time can be better spent doing what brokers do best, retaining existing business, and building new business.
